Our aim is to up-cycle plastic into a product that is useful to people! We want to design an engaging and educational toy for kids. The toy will have two parts, a physical toy figure made from recycled plastic, and an Augmented Reality app. The user scans the toy and an animated version of the toy follows a story about how bad plastic pollution is.
Chloe, Zion & Renz
We want to lessen or prevent online stalking in order to protect a person’s privacy. With the rise of social media, stalking has become easier to do but harder to detect, so we want to find a solution to this problem.
Saaya
Japan is a homogenous nation and not quite “global”. I hope future to be the place with real “diversity”, but I believe this won’t be changed unless we do something to change it. I will make an original board game that can be played online from anywhere that all the generation would have fun. By playing the game, people can learn more about Kanazawa and she hope Kanazawa to be more diverse and global by having those people visit and live Kanazawa.

People order takeaway food that is delivered to them in single use paper bags. Without having additional purpose, these bags are just thrown away as trash, essentially creating a situation where effective lifetime of such bag is only the time when it’s delivered to your house
We want to create a solution where bags can be returned, cleaned and reused.
Amelia

There are many people in the world who can't read or understand what's written on the trash bins (e.g. children, and people with disabilities). It's also quite difficult to decide for most adults how to sort the trash correctly. As a result, there's too much mixed garbage that can't be used for recycling, unfortunately. Therefore we want to build a smart trash bin that can scan the waste and tell you which trash belongs where.
Silver & Sass
We don't talk that much about money. Children could have much better knowledge about money and their finances than they do now. There are budget apps for adults, but they are too difficult and not in local language. Our idea is to make children money smart though playful and easy-to-use budget app.
Eloise, Corynne & Vanessa

Tark Tube is looking at a brighter future where meaningful learning happens from child to child. Tark Tube is aiming at building an online learning platform where children can learn through educational video content produced and uploaded by other children. Every child can be a teacher sharing their own skills and passion. A custom “for children - by children” learning platform makes sense as this way it can be kept free of advertisements, just recreational videos and malicious content.
Ruan & Bree
We want to educate kids about the benefits of electric cars through interactive augmented reality game that they can play while driving in the back seat.
